Hi! My name is Ka’iu and I am currently a senior-to-be majoring in Elementary Education with an endorsement in SPED. I am trying to figure out what I should get my master’s degree in and found your Q&A very insightful. I definitely know that I want to work with babies and their families, but the point that you brought up about how taking Psychology classes during your masters could have possibly contributed to a higher income caught my attention. I love education, but a high salary is nice too. Being said, what kind of psychology classes/master’s degree do you think would be helpful so that I could be the person doing the assessments? This is very nice!! It really helped me. As an ER physcian, can you see both adults and children?Does this require double certification, as in internal medicine and pediatrics??
Can you hold a job at all while you are in Medical school, say a night job may be in the first 2 years?? Just wondering because I want to go to medical school next year but I always worry about how am going to pay my bills for those 4 years especially. Do we really have to get loans for school and for bills too?

And did you say that most ER physicians work an average of 17 days amonth? So then, do they get paid bi-weekly for 80 hours likes other employees??

That is what my dad (and mom) does for a living, they’re environmental engineers.
Nice article and good insight into the live of an environmental engineer, I can conclude that it is not for me, and if I may I want to add my congratulations to mom and dad for the hard work they in keeping our environment safe and clean.
