Today she is excited about working with kids! I love this idea. She is interested in special ed, speech therapy and maybe occupational therapy. Luckily, I have quite a few contacts in this area and will be able to get her a lot of information and different perspectives about the many paths that lead to working with children. I need to start sending out emails and making contact! More to come!!!

The job outlook for Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Special Ed is very good too!

I know that you have been doing this for a while, but this is actually my first time to look at your blog. What a cool idea! It is fun to hear what your kids are into. My son has gone from wanting to be a Marine, to playing in the NFL & if that doesn’t pan out to playing in the MLB, and now lately he wants to be a doctor (which I could totally see). My daughter is 13 & has always said that she wants to be a teacher. Anyway…I saw that your daughter is interested in being a Special Ed Teacher. That is what I do. That was my major at ODU & what I’ve been doing since I graduated. If you’re interested, I’d be happy to do an interview.
